Hello you lovely soul,
My name is Aisha, I am a second-generation Colorist and owner of The Color Collective Salon, and let me tell you, I truly love this industry. Growing up I watched my mother teaching in our local beauty school and I remember thinking to myself when the students had finished a hair color “ wow these people are making magic happen”.
Since receiving my license in 2011, it has been my passion creating personalized lifestyle-friendly hair color for my amazing clients. But when I am not at the salon doing what I love, I enjoy taking dance classes (Modern and Tap are my favorite style), spending time with my partner, my people, and my fur family, purchasing way too many houseplants, and crocheting. I definitely have the travel bug and love to immerse myself in the cultures of other countries, especially the food and bev. So far my favorite destination is Seealpsee, Switzerland, the fresh cheese, alpine hiking, and majestic views are by far the most wonderful thing I’ve ever seen!
I am in love with creating dynamic hair with movement and personality on all textures of hair. It is really important to me to create customized experiences for each and every guest that sits in my chair because, in the end, the only result worth having is the one that fits your personality and lifestyle as you are right now.
I love to workshop ideas with my clients in order to achieve a look that fits who they truly are and best serves the health and integrity of their hair. I believe that every relationship is built on honesty, and the relationship you have with your hairstylist should be no different. This is why I keep my prices honest and straightforward. I keep it real, I always want my guests to know what the possibilities and limitations are. I will always strive to make sure each guest knows how to maintain and care for their hair investment, and I am always up for a good styling tutorial session.
